It comes in a square box, is round and has triangle slices. Yep it's pizza. I never thought about it until today but it seems odd how the box is square and the pizza is round and the slices are triangles. You never really notice it, probably because we are too busy consuming it. But all those pieces fit together and make a wonderful and whole meal.
In a way the church is quite like the delivery pizza. We have many people of all shapes and sizes that come to the house of worship for the same purpose of consuming the word of God. We have carpenters, doctors, lawyers, children, sales reps, ministers and probably even pizza delivery guys. What's wonderful and interesting is that we all fit together, much like the pizza. We take all of our differences and piece them together to be one, whole being. I don't know how but it works and it's wonderful.
Next time you eat a pizza think about it and next time you are at church take time to see how we bring all our differences together to create the body of Christ. Peace and God Bless
